De Calorie Team feels proud to be associated with Indian Railways. Railway team appointed De Calorie Energy consultant to get certify the hospital. De Calorie team has done tremendous work with the support of Railway team and got IGBC GOLD Healthcare Rating. Divisional Railway Agra Hospital achieved Green Rating Certificate. This is Railway's first IGBC Gold green rating hospital in India.

Mr. Varun Gaur, Managing director of De Calorie Energy Consultant LLP got the award of “Young Entrepreneur” by Indian Achiever’s forum. Indian Achievers’ Forum draws attention on the theme “how the successful achievers can help the social & economic infrastructural development in and around the country.”

It will provide examples of social entrepreneurs and successful models of the society and corporate sector partnership. Indian Achievers’ Forum is the partnership of business, political, professional and other representatives of the Indian community to define and discuss the key issues on the Indian economic agenda.

The primary goal is to promote industries and to ensure that government and society as a whole, understand both the needs of industry and its contribution to the nation’s well-being.

Mr. Varun Gaur has done energy analytics to identify saving opportunities for various International clients mostly in United States. He develops or executes strategies to address issues such as energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, waste elimination, transportation, education, and building design.

He has gained experience of different building codes and standards such as ASHRAE, ECBC, NBC, and other relevant codes.

De Calorie Energy Consultant collaborated with Youth for Sustainability (YfS) to give more contribution towards sustainability.The Youth for Sustainability (YfS) India Alliance brings together like-minded youth-oriented organisations focused on SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 13 – Climate Action on a common national platform in the form of an Alliance to help India achieve its targets under SDG 12 and 13 with the youth as the accelerator.

The Alliance aims to harness the tremendous power of the Indian youth to create a sustainable future through collective behaviour change and to drive policy changes in educational campuses, corporate groups, civil society organisations, the government and other stakeholders through consensus-building and urgent action.

We are all responsible as individuals, in terms of changing our habits and living in a way which is more sustainable, and which does less harm to the planet, making the kind of lifestyle changes. De Calorie Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment challenges business, organisations, cities, states and regions to reach net zero carbon in operation for all assets under their direct control by 2030, and to advocate for all buildings to be net zero carbon in operation by 2050.

During the lockdown, Mr. Varun Gaur, Managing Director has shared his thoughts on impacts of Lockdown on energy consumption in buildings. The employees working from home must not consume as much energy used in offices. But the impact must be shown on residential loads in April as the ambient temperature at several regions rising up to 40 degree Celsius which will increase the home AC load with a rise in percentage minimum 5-10% of residential load.
At homes, there must be minor increase in lighting and AC load, which will be still very low as compared to previous office loads.

Jodhpur Railway station has been awarded by IGBC Green Platinum Railway Station Rating and now become INDIA’s FIRST to earn highest points. Jodhpur Railway station has been awarded as India’s first railway station to become Platinum Rated Green Railway Station with Highest Points. Jodhpur railway station got maximum points to achieve Platinum Rating till date not done by any other railway station. This is given by the Indian Green Building Council – Confederation of Industry (IGBC-CII). The IGBC-CII, with the support of Environment Directorate of the Indian Railways, has developed the Green Railway Stations Rating system to facilitate the transformation of existing railway stations into eco-friendly ones that offer an enhanced commuter experience. The rating system actually address national priorities like water conservation, handling of waste, energy efficiency, reduced use of fossil fuels, less dependency on usage of valuable materials and the health and well-being of occupants. Jodhpur Railway station designed such a way with having more than 90% daylight is available at each office area, booking area by using passive design like Jali etc. Main platform has extra features architectural design where there is a buffer zone which is open area

Carriage Workshop Ajmer becomes first workshop achieved Green Gold Rating at North Western Railway by CII - GreenCo Rating ( Green Company Rating Sytem). Carriage Workshop Ajmer has achieved all the requirements in accordance with GreenCo, Green Company Rating System, Version 3.0 and has been rated as a first “GreenCo Gold” company rating in North western railway zone. Shambupura Railway Wagon Depot has achieved all the requirements in accordance with GreenCo, Green Company Rating System, Version 3.0 and has been rated as India’s first “GreenCo Silver” company rating railway depot. Pursuing "Green" has become the new driver for companies on the quest towards growth, competitiveness and global excellence. GreenCo is a rating system, an initiative by the Confederation of Indian Industry to facilitate Indian industries make a substantial improvement in their environmental performance thereby saving both natural and financial resources. Shambupura Railway Depot has done tremendous work towards sustainability and achieved GreenCo Silver rating.
